The Western Junior is the oldest national junior tournament in the United States, and Naperville Country Club will be hosting the event on June 20 thru June 23, 2022!
Naperville is honored to have its very own Naperville Country Club, host the 104th playing of the Western Junior Championship with some of the past winners being, Collin Morikawa, Rickie Fowler, Patrick Rodgers, and Jim Furyk.
Each year, The Western Junior Championship draws the top junior players from more than 40 states and around the world. The event has long been a testing ground for stars of the future, including current PGA TOUR standouts Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Rickie Fowler, Collin Morikawa, Scottie Scheffler and veterans Fred Couples, Craig Stadler, Corey Pavin, and Jim Furyk.
The City of Naperville is proud to know that NCC was selected to host this national event and the community's involvement is necessary now more than ever! From volunteering, sponsorship opportunities, donations for the silent auction (benefitting the Evans Scholars Foundation), to even attending as a spectator of the event, this is the perfect occasion to bring the town together at Naperville's first-ever Golf Club. Many contestants are coming from around the world and we can't wait to show off our amazing town!
